Veterans Talk Live is Established

Veterans Talk Live HAS Established The Veterans Talk Live First Chapter At The Brookdale Skyline
The first chapter/post of Veterans Talk Live is established. 30 Veterans attended, and James Brown our first guest speaker was excellent. 


James a Channel 11 Weatherman and Traffic Reporter was very entertaining and his discussions of 9 years of Air Force service in Cheyenne Mountain NORAD Complex was off the charts, yes there was talk of tracking Santa Claus and UFOs.


It was a great time and Post 001 is off and running. A super thanks to Ashley Mooney for having the vision to have this all come together.

VETERAN'S TALK LIVE Steven Robert Alexander, LT. Colonel (Retired): 
Steve served 28 years in the U.S. Army, partly active duty, Reserve and National Guard. He served two tours in the Middle East. In 2004 while serving as a Senior Advisor to an Iraqi Division Command he was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds sustained in a vehicle borne improvised explosive device.

Veterans Talk Live Will Be Establishing Their First Chapter At The Brookdale Skyline

Veterans are helping Seniors at local Retirement Community establish first chapter of Veterans TALK LIVE this Wednesday at 1:00pm at Brookdale Skyline as well as help document their life while serving.

This organizations plan now is to establish chapters in locations where Veterans, their families and friends can meet, help each other, socialize and contribute for the betterment of all. The group meetings will have an agenda, usually a guest speaker and a chance to share stories from the days in service. Veterans TALK LIVE will also help document the Veterans stories so they can be passed along for generations to come. They will publish veterans and family member’s novels and bios, etc. at no charge to them. These can be histories to give out at family reunions and to descendants or try to get discovered and published by big companies. They will take whatever the vet sends them, format it, edit it and build a cover with their help and publish it.

Veterans TALK LIVE

Next week something pretty cool is going to happen. On Wednesday we (my team and I) will be establishing the first Chapter of Veterans TALK LIVE(from the radio show, see FB page) at the Brookdale Skyline This group will feature speakers at our Wednesday get-together's and we will celebrate all things, Veteran. We'll honor all who served, and have a lot of fun. Thanks to James Brown an Air Force Veteran and Channel 11's Weatherman who will be making a presentation. Complaints about weather related issues will not be accepted. LoL

Off to read from The Adventures of Sherlock Fox to the Jackson Elementary School First Graders wish me luck!


A bunch of great kids got to meet Sherlock Fox, his wife Ginger, his little boy Junior and daughter Sissy today at Jackson elementary. They also got to meet Marlee Squirrel, Tinky Skunk, Hoppy Rabbit and the famous Falky Falcon who attends the Blue Zoo. The Blue Zoo is a college right north of Colorado Springs where birds go to learn to Fly Higher, Faster and Better We had a Great Time.

​Steven Robert Alexander, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) U.S. Army has been writing stories and books all of his life. His creativity and imagination allow him to write on all subject matters from ghost stories, military adventure romances, children’s stories, high school sports and romance stories.

Steve served 28 years in the U.S. Army, partly active duty, Reserve and National Guard. He served two tours in the Middle East. In 2004 while serving as a Senior Advisor to an Iraqi Division Command he was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds sustained in a vehicle borne improvised explosive device, VBIED, a suicide bomber in a water tanker filled with explosives, detonated himself in close proximity. Steve has also been awarded the Combat Action Badge. Many of the scenarios in The Road To Jahra hit close to home. He served a follow on tour late in his career in Kuwait, serving as an Operations Officer. He also served tours in Panama, Japan and Slovenia, sites that will be included in future novels.

Steve is also an accomplished broadcaster, having hosted national radio shows on Cable Radio Network out of Los Angeles. He is an experienced talk show host and oldies music show host, most well known for the Major Ripster and the B Team Show that ran from 1999-2001. After 911, Steve volunteered for active duty and Iraq and spent the next ten years on active duty until his May 2011 retirement.

Steve has always been involved in DJ and music activities.

Steve is an American Civil War and Ancient Greece historian, an Eagle Scout and high school football coach. He lives in Colorado and has five Grandchildren. He enjoys throwing theme parties, songwriting and acting.
